Lake
George Poker Run and High Performance Boat Show
This year's event is
an organized run and the speed limit and noise limit
has been lifted for the day. Held on Columbus Day weekend,
this is a great end to the Upstate New York boating
season. This year there is a high performance boat show
being held in conjunction with the run. Boats will be
on display at the Lake George Village docks from 8:30-1:30,
at which time the run will begin. For spectators, this
is a great way to see these boats up-close and watch
them as they scream across the lake, and for boat owners,
it is a great opportunity to run the lake with others,
meet with people and talk boats, and just enjoy a day
of great boats on an amazing lake. Participation is
limited to the first 100 boats, so please get your registration
in early.

Participant Information
When: Friday
- Saturday, October 9th-10th
Where: Boats
will be docking at the Lake George Village
Docks. Dinner and award ceremony will be
held at King Neptune's Pub in Lake George
Awards: Drivers
Choice - Best Deep-V, Drivers Choice - Best
Cat and Peoples Choice - Best in Show. Also,
top three poker hands will win cash prizes
($1500.00, $1000.00 and $500.00 based on
100 boats).
Entry Fee: $250.00
per boat which includes entry fee for 1
boat, 1 poker hand, 1 dinner buffet ticket,
DVD of the Poker Run, T-shirt and overnight
docking on Saturday at the Lake George Village
docks.

be sure to register early to reserve your
spot.
Poker Run Details:
The Poker Run is
broken into 5 separate divisions of boats
lead by a Pace Boat. The route will travel
the length (32 miles) of beautiful Lake
George, also called the Queen of American
Lakes. The route will take participants
up the east side of the lake via Pilot Knob
(card stop 1), through the narrows (card
stop 2), north to Rogers Rock (card stop
3), and return south on the west side of
the lake through the narrows (card stop
4), to Northwest Bay (card stop 5) returning
to the Lake George Village Docks where the
card envelopes will be opened.
Schedule:
Friday - Informal gathering
at the King Neptune Pub w/DJ (cash
bar)
Saturday 8am-1:30pm - Boats
begin to gather at the village docks for
display
Saturday 1:30 - Poker Run
begins.
Saturday Evening - There
will be a party (cash bar) with buffet,
live band and awards ceremony at the King
Neptune Pub.
Lodging: A
block of rooms is being held at the Fort
William Henry Resort. In order to receive
the preferred rate, you must mention "The
